Today I leave 21 Century Motor Company, the chatroom I created. I created a new place for the builders who believe in the same strong vision—one bitcoin to rule them all. Any bitcoin developer is welcome, as long as you acknowledge the rules. Join:

If PoW works why did you choose the chain with less work

It's always good to have a competing entity & not becoming complacent

He didn’t. Have you looked at what it’s doing lately? There is a stealth operation going down as SV completes the intended path of one merge chain.

That’s a rule? “I’ll probably put a checkpoint in each version from now on. Once the software has settled what the widely accepted block chain is, there’s no point in leaving open the unwanted non-zero possibility of revision months later.” -Satoshi Satoshi >

"months later" not "every 30 minutes later"

Ppl only see "Satoshi" & "checkpoints" ----> so it must be OK

Also, SV did adhere to most POW. ABC won, so SV f(or/uc)ked off, and started working on BSV instead. No harm done. 🤷‍♂️

There was _A_ checkpoint in the duration of the "war". Feel free to try to falsify this with references to commits and or version releases. 🙂.

Doesn’t matter ONE or 2 or many

Hi nima, politely, I don't understand your stance here. You have an issue with many checkpoints, but when it was made clear that during the war there were not many you stated that it doesn't matter if its several or just one? BCH used checkpoints with all other previous forks.

Sorry for the confusion. The emphasis here is on "possibility of revision months later.” not on the number of checkpoints actually. Satoshi says "months later" not "minutes later" because he wanted to see how any possible forking plays out in the short run.

2 & 3 are not rules... and 1 is also not a rule, more like target to achieve. Also As Bitcoin system is PoW, it is actually not Capitalist system as Capitalist system is PoS based system... and yet no one understands this.

Capitalism doesn't use PoW principle, if it did, no capitalist would get as rich as they have, because they get rich from work of others... and most people because they have been brainwashed, do not understand this at all.
